DancEsteem General Rules
Student Conduct:
All students are expected to attend all classes and arrive promptly. Please make sure your child wears proper attire.
Dress Code:
Pre-K students thru 1st grade: Simple leotard in any color with pink ballet slippers.
2nd thru 4th grade: Simple leotard with leggings or tights.
Ballet I, II & III: Pink or flesh tights with leotard. Pink ballet shoes. Long hair must be securely up.
5th Grade & Up Til Teens: Form fitting clothing that shows the body. Leotard and tights, or tank top with leggings, no big t-shirts. Hair is appropriately up. No baggy t-shirts, pants, jeans, or skirts.
Hip Hop: Easy comfortable clothes.
Shoes:
- Contemporary class takes barefoot or toe pad
- Pre-k, through 3rd & 4th grade: pink ballet shoes (will use for the annual performance)
- 4th & 5th grade: will learn Jazz steps so during that time please use black Jazz shoes
- Boys: T-shirts with tight leggings or short pants.
- Hip Hop class: Sneakers. No sandals.
