Tamalpa Life/Art Process / Move With Meaning: a Dance Class for All

At MoBu Dance Studio Day Street
Instructor: Emily Morrison

Dance classes for adults of all movement backgrounds who want to contact some of the many forgotten stories, feelings, and bits of wisdom the body has to share.

Classes begin with a guided movement warmup to expand movement possibilities and empower creativity. Then, movers explore a particular movement or body part, listening to impulses and discovering what emotions, images, textures, or memories are evoked. There will be time at the end to reflect on what came up through drawing and sharing with others.

*Each class is inspired by the Feldenkrais lesson taught immediately beforehand, and those who take both classes will deepen their experience. It is not necessary, but highly recommended.
